I finally got around to doing a still life this week. I have been mainly working on some abstracts....which has been getting better but it is still a nice break to paint a little still life.
Wow, Alice! I've been out of the blog-o-sphere for awhile, and just now had a delightful romp through your recent posts. It's wonderful that you've kept up your daily paintings! Your recent work with shiny objects ... #348, #350, #358 and #362 ... are fantastic. I just love how you handled the reflections and the highlights. Even this piece glows ~ the shiny fruit doesn't allow the bowl to take center stage. Kudos!
