I thought that working with green would be good for me and it was, though now that the painting is posted I can see many missed opportunities. Someday I hope to post a piece that feels finished.
It's always stunning to witness the apotheosis of a pawn... ~~makes the Queen transformation pale by comparison. .... and "finished" paintings are often dull. relax.
