  1. Great to see all the work. Funny little painting this one is with the mask like shadow across the piggies eyes. The pears seem to be comforting her (him?). Is it a hold up? Or something more? The form and color are strong and the reflected light is wonderful.

  2. Wow! You are really turning up the chroma, Alice! This piece is perfect for this week's Illustration Friday word … Shiny. Those pears seem to be skating around the piglet. Poor thing seems stunned by all the activity and is afraid to move. I love all the juicy colors, and especially like seeing the texture in your brush strokes. The cyan reflection on piggie's underside is wonderful, as are the splashes of red on the pears and their reflections.
