painting your shoes is a lot like painting a self portrait. It is sort of personal. It was fun working in the shadows and the pattern of the fabric.

    love this piece. There is something lyrical in width of the strokes on the shoes equating to those of the striped cloth. and the fact the shoes look to be advancing towards the viewer.
