# 89: Grape Bouquet

6" x 8" oil on canvas

SOLD

I had fun with the colors on this one. However the composition makes me tired. It seems to be a long way down to that grape on the ground and now that I see it on the screen I can understand why. There is an interruption of visual flow in the shadow. So now I have a dilemma. It would be an easy fix, but do I go back and fix it or do I leave it as is?

  1. Leave it as it is, and go on to the next one. The flow isn't too bothersome, and there's a nice trail from the bunch to the dropped grapes to the one who never made the cut. The shadow then pulls us back up the slide.

how hard was it taming that intense blue background, I wonder.... ?

  3. Leave it as it is. The grape leads you up through the cast shadow to the grapes. Great colours !
